A good ol’ fashion before and after

Groovy ride, dude. Just finished up this wrap for the good folks at Rudi’s Bakery in Boulder. The Sterling Rice Group did the awesome design and Harmonic Media threw down the wrap. Its a blast from the past, but was not without it set of challenges. This sucker had to have body work and paint, I had to had illustrate the template for the design, and we had to slap down the vinyl real quick so this baby could make it’s road trip to California. Follow the grateful bread people!

New exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science

We are happy to partner with such an established Denver landmark. The Body Worlds exhibit is back in Denver with its perfect mix of creepy and cool. We had the privilege to provide the accompanying graphics to highlight this current attraction. Check it out:  www.dmns.org

A fresh way to display

Wanted to share this with you folks that might be looking for some nifty alternatives to traditional Trade Show Hardware. We just finished these displays for a local ad agency here in Denver. This “twist” style display system holds three 30″x30″ fabric panels, our customer decided to use three systems side-by-side to maximize their booth space. Displays like this are a perfect way to draw attention to your message without breaking the bank. The entire unit collapses onto itself for compact, easy transportation.

Now I can see it.

“But how will people know we are here?” Now that the inside of Colore is finished, we turned our attention to the outside. The brainstorming session led to some bright green window vinyl and some fabric teardrop’s for the perimeter of the restaurant. She has a great location, but now the restaurant jumps out as motorists cruise up and down South Broadway. Looking great!

Are you getting a ROI from your trade show attendance?

Here is some great information from one of our suppliers’ Blogs’. It is interesting way to affix a ROI for those of you who are traveling to tradeshow and wondering if you are getting your money’s worth. Optima graphics had long been an authority on trade show hardware and continue to lay out new and exciting products. Click on the screen capture below to go to this article. Below is the plain text from Optima’s Blog. Thanks Tim!

IN PLAIN TEXT:

I don’t know if you caught this, but there was a 1/4 page ad in a recent Wall Street Journal exposing the benefits of attending trade shows.  Now, I personally don’t have a subscription to the WSJ and I think those of you who know me aren’t terribly surprised at that one.  Fortunately, I have a CFO who does and he likes me enough to bring it in for me to peruse.  Like my grandpa always used to say, always make friends with the guy who can help you out with expense reports.  I digress…

So, this ad entitled “Boost Your ROI from Meetings and Trade Shows” touches on some statistics from an Oxford Economics study about how beneficial attending trade shows can be.  The most important statistic is that, “for every dollar a company invests in business travel, it earns $12.50 in increased revenue and $3.80 in new profits.”  Wow!  I know I didn’t know that, and I love statistical information.  What a great argument to get a new company to exhibit and keep older companies in the trade show game.

Of course, the article isn’t just statistical information.  It does go over proper trade show strategies, and not the same old “make sure the people working your booth are familiar with your product and not drunk” advice we all know and love.  One of the ideas they give is organizing your leads at the end of every day.  They go so far as advising that you email leads and send overnight packages to coworkers back to the office so you can get a jump on your competition.  I know I’ve been guilty of waiting until the end of the show to deal with leads, and this really is a wonderful  bit of advice.  The other suggestions they give are just as unique and precise as well.

This ad was put together by the US Travel Association, I thought this article was a wonderful way to kick-off a year that has a lot more optimism attached to it than 2009 did.  Bravo, US Travel Association! Bravo!

Maggianos feast

We all like to trade right? Well, we did it up right this year with Maggianos little Italy. The crew here at Harmonic Media made some sweet graphics for the restaurant in trade for a Holiday feast. There were about 14 of us this year that got together to share stories from the past year, drink some wine, and eat a ton. Thanks Maggianos for the great time!
